How Treasure Cars Work
Treasure Cars are tied to an exploration and rumor mechanic that unfolds naturally as you drive.
Triggering clues
While driving around the map, Mei occasionally contacts you over the radio with rumors about abandoned vehicles. When this happens, a new Treasure Car entry is unlocked in the Cars menu under Treasure Cars, including a hint and preview image.
Finding the vehicle
Once you get close enough to the hidden location, a purple marker appears on your map. This guides you to the exact spot where the car is located.
Claiming the reward
Drive up to the vehicle and press the collect prompt. A short cutscene plays, and the car is instantly added to your garage.
Rewards
Collecting all nine Treasure Cars unlocks the Treasure Hunter achievement, along with an exclusive badge and completion rewards.

Located in Tokyo City, hidden inside a southern public parking lot. This one is easy to miss because it sits in a fairly ordinary urban area rather than off-road terrain.

Found in Minamino near a cluster of rural buildings. The surrounding environment makes it blend into the scenery, so it’s best approached slowly from side roads.

Hidden near a rural farm area in Ohtani, close to a noticeable red tower landmark that helps narrow down the search.

Located in Shimanoyama, tucked into a small back alley near a “365” convenience store. It’s easy to pass by if you’re driving too fast.

Found under a large road bridge east of the Porsche location. The shaded area makes it slightly harder to spot from a distance.

Hidden on a winding mountain forest trail in Sotoyama. This one requires careful driving through off-road terrain.
