Thanks for sharing this. Ontario fishing regulations can be a bit complex especially when it comes to species-specific rules and seasonal closures. One thing I always tell first-time anglers is to double-check the slot sizes for bass and walleye before heading out — the rules differ by zone and getting it wrong can result in a fine. The MNR summary guide is a handy booklet to keep in your tackle box.
