Has anyone taken the Certified Arborist Exam recently?
Hey everyone, I’m getting ready for the Certified Arborist Exam and wanted to hear from people who have already taken it.
I’ve been going through the main arboriculture topics, but there’s a lot to cover, especially tree biology, identification, pruning, soil management, diagnosis, risk management, and safety. I’m finding that some topics are much easier to remember than others.
I’ve also started using an Arborist practice test to get more comfortable with practice questions and figure out where I need more review.
For anyone who has taken the exam, what was your experience like? Were there any topics that surprised you or required more preparation than expected?
Also, what study method worked best for you? I’d appreciate any practical advice, especially from people who prepared while working in the field.
