Established in 1909 by a group of doctors from St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, The Franklin Club was originally created as a private weekend fishing getaway. Over the years, the Club has evolved into a year-round fishing retreat for all anglers. Members, including spouses are encouraged to invite their families and friends to participate in the wide range of outdoor activities available at The Franklin Club.
Located forty-five minutes north of Toronto, near the town of Mount Albert, The Franklin Club is a member-owned, private recreational fishing club specializing in spincasting and fly-fishing for rainbow and speckled trout in our Lake and two ponds. We also host non-member events, such as corporate, team building, educational and fundraising events.
